Directions

From Cape Town International Airport

Proceed towards Cape Town along the N2 Highway, past Junction 9 (signed "Muizenberg" and "M5"). Still on the N2, keep in the left-hand lane, past the next junction, past the off-ramp signed "Main Road" and "Woodstock", and take the next off-ramp at Junction 6 (signed "Kirstenbosch", "Muizenberg" and "M3").

Proceed along the M3 dual carriageway, past Princess Anne Interchange, (move into right-hand lane), to the traffic lights. Turn right at these lights (signed "Kirstenbosch", "Hout Bay" and M63").

Continue along the M63, past Kirstenbosch Gardens, to a T-junction. Turn right here and continue along the M63 until you reach a traffic circle. The M41 from Constantia joins from your left. Go two-thirds around the circle into Main Road (still signed "M63" and "Hout Bay").

Carry on along Main Road, for about six kilometres, to the next traffic circle.

*** The left exit is signed "Imizamo Yethu". Take the second exit, straight over, and continue for approximately one kilometre along Main Road, past a BP Service Station, to a Shell Service Station, situated on the corner of Main and Andrews. At this intersection is a set of pedestrian traffic lights.

About 15 metres beyond these lights, take the road off to your left, at a diagonal. (If you have reached the next traffic circle, you have gone too far). There is a square arch over the entrance to this road, signed "Hout Bay Manor". It looks like an entrance to a private estate, but is, in fact a public road, Baviaanskloof Road.

+++ Proceed along Baviaanskloof Road for approximately 1 kilometre. It is very winding and somewhat steep. You will reach a side road named "Lindavista" on the right. Stay on Baviaanskloof Road. Just beyond Lindavista, the tar surface ends, and there is a gravel stretch for about 50 metres, when the tar surface recommences. Just 50 metres further up the slope, Fountain Drive is on the right.

We are the fifth gateway on the left, No. 9. The intercom button is on the left gatepost.

From Cape Town CBD, via Camp's Bay and Coastal Road

Follow the M6 from Camp's Bay past the Twelve Apostles Hotel, past Llandudno, over the crest leading down into Hout Bay.

At the first traffic lights, turn left, (still the M6), into Victoria Road (signed "Chapman's Peak Drive"), to the traffic circle at Imizamo Yethu. Go three-quarters round, third exit, into Main Road, and follow directions from *** above.

From Fish Hoek or Kommetjie, via Noordhoek

Follow Chapman's Peak Drive toll road, M6, into Hout Bay. Continue past the Chapman's Peak Hotel until the traffic circle. Take the second exit off (straight over) and immediately turn right into Baviaanskloof Road, just before the pedestrian traffic lights. Follow the directions from +++ above.
