Barry Hall has four spacious, self-catering apartments aimed at the business and leisure traveller or advertising and film crews.

The house:

• 1 garden cottage – comfortably sleeping 2
  

Stay in an individual apartment or the house in its entirety. Each self-contained apartment varies in size and has its own distinctive style, colours and furniture.

Unique features such as wooden floors, ornamental fireplaces and some of the original baths and wallpaper have been carefully maintained whilst a modern eclectic design style that incorporates retro and Scandinavian elegance adds a touch of the contemporary. The owner has selectively collected Persian rugs and a scattering of ebony furniture pieces that present a hint of Africa.

Each of the four self-catering apartments and the garden cottage has:

• The sunny front garden is an artful display of indigenous plants, herbs and roses that invite one to idle away the morning, whilst the intimate back garden provides a cosy setting for the charming garden cottage. It is also readily equipped for relaxation and barbecues with beautiful vines cleverly trained over a wooden pergola to provide shade for the patio.

Apartment no 1
Set on the ground floor, just off the main hallway, this spacious 3-bedroom apartment is ideal for a large family or travel group.

The Bedrooms
The bedrooms are all a generous size and discerningly furnished with crisp, white cotton bedding. The self-catering apartment has wooden floors throughout, and the 2nd bedroom is particularly romantic with its own ornamental fireplace. Towelling gowns are provided for those bedrooms without en suite bathrooms.

1st Bedroom
king size bed - extra length with crisp, white cotton bedding and juicy hints of pink and red. En suite shower and toilet

2nd Bedroom
Romantic, large room with king size bed - extra length; crisp, white cotton bedding, shades of green, desk and ornamental fireplace. Adjoining bathroom with bath, toilet and towelling gowns

3rd Bedroom
Queen size bed, crisp white cotton bedding, hints of Africa and a separate shower room and towelling gowns

Modern, fully equipped with plenty of space – perfect for extreme cook-ins; includes a large fridge, hob, microwave oven, oven, dishwasher, and dining for 6; has direct access to the intimate back garden

Apartment no 2
Set on the ground floor, just off the main hallway, this spacious 1-bedroom apartment is ideal for the business traveller or a couple on vacation.

Entrance hall
The spacious entrance hall, with its own large window and Persian rug, steps down into the lounge. Set in its own little alcove is a foldout sleeper couch for 1 extra person.

This large bedroom includes a queen size bed with crisp, white linen bedding, hints of red and the original wooden floors.

Bathroom
A rustic, modern finish with slate tiles and face brick walls, this large bathroom includes a bath, handheld shower, toilet and hand basin

Lounge/dining room
Originally two rooms, this large, sunny and beautifully decorated room is the hub of the apartment. Large windows allow natural light to cast rays onto the original wooden floors. There is dining space for 8, an original ornamental fireplace and beautiful views of the front garden.

Kitchen
Fully equipped with fridge, hob and microwave oven

Apartment no 3
Set on the first floor, this large and very spacious 2-bedroom apartment is ideal for a honeymoon couple, two couples or a family of four.

The Bedrooms
The 2nd bedroom, in particular, is absolutely exquisitely furnished with lead French doors that open up onto a private balcony. Both bedrooms are a generous size with wooden floors and Persian rugs.

1st Bedroom
Large room with stain-glass windows, king-size bed, extra length and crisp, white cotton bedding with a beautiful, large en suite bathroom with a shower, hand basin and toilet.

2nd Bedroom
Large room with king-size bed, extra length, with crisp, white linen bedding, own ornamental fireplace and French doors leading out onto balcony.

Bathrooms
1st bathroom is en suite to the main bedroom, with tiled floors, a large shower, hand basin and toilet
2nd bathroom, adjoining the 2nd bedroom, includes the original Victorian bath, white stained wooden floors, shower, heated towel rails, hand basin and toilet.
