The guesthouse specialises in exclusive fly fishing for seven different fresh water fish species, but offers a myriad of other activities, from hiking on the beautiful Boschberg mountain, to enjoying the breathtaking views whilst sipping sundowners overlooking the Plains of Camdeboo.
 
The area is well known for both game hunting and wing shooting.  Other activities include golf, historical tours, game viewing, adrenalin sports, bird watching, mountain biking, paintball, quad biking, and the Walter Battiss art gallery.

Fly fishing
Fishing is exclusive, with private access to still waters for Trout, trophy Bass waters at the foothills of the mountain.  Over twenty kilometres of the Little Fish river throws down the gauntlet to test your skills and perseverance to conquer Small mouth Yellow fish.  Access to the Bankberg Trout Fishers Club pristine waters for both Brown and Rainbow Trout is easily arranged.
 
Historical Tours

THE OLD PARSONAGE MUSEUM, housed in an elegant restored Georgian parsonage, encapsulates the history of the area.  A new exhibition staged around the beam on which the Slachters Nek rebels were hung in 1816 gives a sense of immediacy and relevance to this tragic episode of the area’s history, and  viewing this makes for a riveting experience.
 
Game Viewing:
Pleasures of sight, sounds and smells are rejuvenating as one soaks up the variety of 20 antelope, buffalo, rhino, elephant, giraffe and elusive leopard in the amphitheatre of the mountains.  The silence and solitude stirs the soul.  Aroma's of the veldt plants heighten your senses to the wealth of the Karoo.
 
Adrenalin Sports:
Let the excitement of gorge gliding 200m between the cliffs or abseil down the 120m face of them, pump through your veins as you experience one of the most awesome views.
