18 on Park, one of Grahamstown's oldest gems built in 1857 originally to house the Coach and Carriages of Colonel P G Gane, (A founder of Kingswood College), is situated on the doorstep of Kingswood College. The handcarved stonework reflects the exceptional workmanship to create the basis of what is now. Over the past 150 years the cottage and main homestead have been a home to the first girls who joined Kingswood College and then later used as a boys hostel (Cohen House). With great excitement two old Kingswoodians have lovingly restored the cottage, to welcome you - Your hosts Dean and Julie Kent.
18 on Park is fantastic for visiting parents of children at the various Schools and Rhodes University.
Centrally situated, one can walk to the Grahamstown Arts Festival Village Green.
