Didimala Game Lodge was designed around the executive, providing luxury, comfort and sophisticated conference equipment in a Bushveld setting.

Didimala was created from 10,000 wheat straw bales and is probably the largest structure of its kind ever embarked on. The use of modern, contemporary décor & furniture throughout the Lodge set against a backdrop of these rugged buttresses create unique contrasts.
It certainly delivers the required atmosphere - a sumptuous venue with a distinctive difference. The achieved “look and feel” of the substantial and unyielding straw bale walls makes for charming conversation, instantly revealing its silent appeal to visitors not to “keep the secret” after they depart from Didimala.
The uniqueness of Didimala was recognised when it was selected to host the World Summit on Progressive Governance in Feb 2006. Several heads-of-state attended the conference, including President Thabo Mbeki, Prime Minister Tony Blair and Nelson Mandela.
