Welcome to Afrikhaya Guest House, our surprisingly different African home, where we invite you to enjoy that unforgettable experience of African Ambiance, magnificent natural beauty and prolific wildlife with us. Afrikhaya Guest House is located in the North-Eastern part of South Africa on the Elephant Coast in the unique village of St.Lucia, nestled between the warm Indian Ocean and the St.Lucia Estuary.
Only 2½ hours drive North of Durban into beautiful KwaZulu-Natal you can explore the beauty of the Greater St.Lucia Wetland Park, a in 1999 by UNESCO proclaimed Natural World Heritage Site. Because of our strategic position you can use St.Lucia as a gateway to the Greater St.Lucia Wetland Park and the world famous Hluhluwe / Imfolozi Game Reserve, home to the Big 5. We are blessed with a subtropical climate that ensures good weather all year round and the area is malaria free.
