Description
Originally built in the 1830s as a post house on the wagon route from Durban to the interior, Old Halliwell has provided a resting place in the Midlands for nearly two centuries.
Nestling on the edge of the misty Karkloof Valley , the beautifully restored buildings make use of an abundance of antiques and Sanderson fabrics.
Each of the individually decorated suites has its own fireplace and veranda.
Steven's Bar, the meeting place before dinner, houses a collection of historical books and memorabilia.
The 250-acre estate of rolling wooded hills has a swimming-pool and various nature trails. The conference centre is ideally suited for small corporate think-tanks.
