Situated at Nottingham Road in the heart of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, Gowrie Farm Golf and Fly-Fishing Estate has been built in the classic style, with tees close to the ground, gently undulating fairways and push-up greens. The course has the feel of an inland links course and, while it is testing for the good players, it is also enjoyable for the average golfer. The course is a par 70, 9 hole course which has two additional holes. As a result, it gives the course variety and interest and the golfer has the feel of playing an 18 hole rather than a 9 hole. Gowrie Farm is 1450m above sea level. Allow for the ball traveling further than at the coast.
