Itinerary Example:

Day 1: Guests are welcome to check in on their first day from 2:00 PM.

OPTION 1: You will be picked - up by our shuttle at either Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport or Malelane Private Airport.
OPTION 2: Self drive to Njovu Kruger Game Lodge. (Please enquire about car hire rental)
After checking in guests can relax with an ice cold drink at the Sala /Lapa or at our stunning swimming pool.

A sumptuous traditional dinner awaits the ravenous. At night the Boma is lit by Kerosene flares and storm lanterns, which contribute to the true African bush Safari ambience and experience. You will get to experience the African Tradition of cooking and eating under the stars while on a South African Safari.

Day 2: Breakfast is at 07:30- 08:30 (Breakfast will be served on the deck in an open thatched roofed lapa overlooking the African bush.

Then a Njovu Kruger Game Lodge 4 x 4 Land Rover will collect you at 8:30am for the first days Game drive through the Kruger National Park, home to the Big 5. This reserve is home to 147 mammal species, over 500 bird species, around 340 tree species and an abundance of reptiles, grasses, and insects.
Your entire day will be spent game viewing. On day 2 the Safari Game drive will enter the Malelane Gate proceed in a north - east direction tracking Lion, Leopard, Hyena and White Rhino while skirting the Crocodile River. After an extensive game search we will head in a south westerly direction to lunch. Lunch will be in the Kruger National Park at one of the Southern sector rest camps. Such as Berg en dal or Pretoriuskop.
After a relaxing lunch we will continue our wildlife adventure between Afsaal and Malelane Gate, departing the Park at about 5:30 PM after a stunning days game viewing.
Then its back to the lodge and freshen up before dinner. Evening meals are served in the boma with a central fire weather permitting. (Otherwise on the Sala deck)

Day 3: Breakfast is at 07:30- 08:30 (Breakfast will be served on the deck in an open thatched roofed lapa overlooking the African bush.

Your experienced Game Ranger will share with you his extensive knowledge of the African bush and the thrill of discovering wildlife from the safety of an open vehicle once again. The day starts, as we enter the Crocodile Bridge Gate. This area has a very high density of game. There is an excellent chance of seeing all of the Big Five in this area on your game drive. We will be driving to the Gesanftombi Dam to see what game is around by mid morning. Then off we go North in the direction of Lower Sabie. Lunch will be at Lower Sabie rest camp. Then we will head South Again in the early afternoon to take some routes through the lower part of the Kruger National Park like the Nhlowa road and leaving the park at about 5:00PM. We now head back to camp to collect supplies and refreshments, so that you can enjoy a sundowner whilst watching the sunset over the African wilderness at our lookout point on the Crocodile River. Before continuing on a night drive using spotlights to look for nocturnal animals.

Day 4: Breakfast is at 07:30- 08:30 (Breakfast will be served on the deck in an open thatched roofed lapa overlooking the African bush.

This mornings game drive, will be taking you on safari through the Crocodile Bridge gate turning west along the Crocodile river road. We will be branching off taking you to the Hippo pools, then onto a detour to the Gayisenga water hole in search of Elephant and other game. We will carry on scouting in a South- Westerly direction to join up with the Crocodile River road where we head off to Berg- en- Dal for a well-deserved lunch. After lunch we depart the Kruger National Park and head back to Njovu Kruger Game Lodge. High tea will now be served either at the Sala Deck or your luxury tent, while resting. At about 4:40 you will be collected by your Game Ranger for a late afternoon bush walk, which will give you the opportunity to learn about the veld. You will return to the Game Lodge by 6:30 PM.

Day 5: Breakfast is at 07:30 - 08:30 (Breakfast will be served on the deck in an open thatched roofed lapa overlooking the African bush.

Your Game Ranger will be taking you to Mozambique for the full day. The journey is roughly 100 kilometres in distance, which will see you in Maputo the Capital of Mozambique where you will drive along the famous Marginal - a palm lined avenue along the beachfront. The scenic beauty and historical sights will leave you amazed. Then you will have a world famous Maputo Prawn lunch at the Maputo Fish Market or on the beachfront. We will be back at Njovu Kruger Game Lodge by approximately 6 PM.

Day 6: Breakfast is at 07:30- 08:30 (Breakfast will be served on the deck in an open thatched roofed lapa overlooking the African bush.

On this day one can choose to relax at the lodge or do one of our very exciting activities or excursions. Please see our highlights list and enquire as to pricing. Should you wish to do another relaxing game drive into the depths of the Kruger National Park, then we will be thrilled to oblige your thirst for adventure. But this day will be ending with a special memory as we take you on a Night Drive to discover the different nocturnal African Wildlife that comes alive in the dark.

At your final dinner of your African Wildlife Safari you will be sitting around the Boma fire listening to the sounds of the bush and recalling the many fantastic moments of your unforgettable Safari Experience that you will take back home to share with others.
