With an acute consciousness of the need to preserve our ecology in a natural state, the owners of Casa do Sol have set aside 500 hectares of virgin, indigenous bush as a nature reserve. Breeding herds of a variety of antelope and other non-agressive game peacefully roam the reserve. Guests may have the unique pleasure of hiking through the bush on their own, and in complete safety.
 
Extensive trails have been marked out by the Casa do Sol conservationist for your guidance. Over 100 different species of trees have been marked according to the Africa List. Casa do Sol has commited itself to the nuturing and preservation of our wild flora and fauna.  
 
The stables at Casa do Sol house many fine horses, so enjoy a ride or explore the estate on horseback. An all-weather floodlit tennis court is available, and guests can enjoy a round of golf at any of the 4 golf courses within 20 minutes drive. Bass fishing, bird watching or boating on Casa do Sol's dam are all relaxing and infinitely peacefull pastimes.

Casa do Sol is the perfect base from which to tour the heart of the Lowveld and the Kruger National Park. The area is famous for its many exquisite beauty spots, so why not relax in the comfort of an airconditioned luxury mini-bus. Join one of our Casa do Sol tours and enjoy a picnic from a wicker basket. Crusty French bread, home made paté, and crisp salads picked that morning from Casa do Sol's own garden, make a delicious lunch. Round it off with a superb selection of cheeses and chilled estate wines.
