This 7500ha Game Farm is an ideal stopover to visit other attractions of the area such as Augrabies Waterfalls National Park and Riemvasmaak Hot spring as well as other destinations such as Richtersveld, Namakwaland, West Coast and Namibia. Khamkirri offers accommodation and Activities for the outdoor adventurer. All camps have basic ablution facilities which include toilets, showers and basins, hot water and electricity. With it’s abundance of wild life such as our 11 different species of game, among others, the Blou Wildebees, Rooi Hartebees, Kudu, Gemsbok, Springbok and Giraffe as well as the Camel Thorn Trees and Quiver Trees, this breakaway is an experience not to forget.
 
 
Bush Bar & Deck

Our bush bar and deck area is ideally situated on the `banks of the Mighty Orange river. This is the perfect venue for Sundowner drinks and dinners overlooking the river with all its tranquilty and beauty.  
 
 
Camel Thorn River Camp

Developed on the banks of the Orange River, this 180ha camp is the ideal getaway for family and group holidays. Accessible for all vehicles, everybody has the opportunity to share the beauty and tranquillity of the mighty river. Each camp site has it’s own braai facility with braai grid. Wood and ice is available for our guests. Central ablution block with electricity and hot water.

Bring own camping gear.

The River is ideal for swimming, fishing
and boating.
 
Bungalows

A total of 8 River View self-catering bungalows are available. Six which can accommodate 4 people each (4 single beds), with their own shower, ablution and braai area, plus two luxury bungalows accommodating 2 people each, (double bed) also with braai area and shower, ablution and kitchen utensils.

They all have electricity.
 
Bush Camp

A 4x4 camp about 20km from the main Camel Thorn River Camp, next to a dry river bed, shaded by Camel Thorn trees. This secluded site has basic ablution facilities, no hot water. Guests are to provide own camping gear. This is an ideal spot for tents and rooftop tents.  
 
Homestead with Cottage

A Farmhouse about 13km from the main
Camel Thorn River Camp, that can accommodate 8 people in total. Fully equipped. Linen, towels and cooking utensils provided. Lovely, outside braai facilities No electricity, but has hot water and paraffin lamps.

The family cottage, next to the Homestead,
sleeps four people and has a bathroom to be shared and also has it’s own braai area.
