Horse Riding:

With the introduction of a few horses to Mount Ceder, we now offer one to two hour rides for those who wish to relax in the saddle whilst enjoying the rugged beauty and tranquillity of the surrounding mountains. Whilst on the rides it is also possible to visit an Early Devonian fossil bed or some of the rock art sites in the area.

Rides longer than two hours are still in the planning stages.
All riders, from beginners to experienced are welcome. Mixed experience groups can be taken out together, however the pace will be kept to that of the least experienced rider.

The saddles we use, are the “trail riders”, made by Leon Liversage, to provide maximum comfort for both horse and rider.

It is important to remember that the rides must be booked and that there is a maximum weight limit of 110 kg. Children must be old enough to handle the horse themselves.
