Packwood boasts one of the most spectacular views in the area, hidden between the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma mountains, a magnificent position elevated high above the estate, 1000 acres of green pastures, breathtaking views across the fields and down to the ocean.  Vicky and Peters private retreat offers a true taste of country living. A nature lover’s paradise, wildlife is around you from monkeys to bush buck and an abundance of birdlife, indigenous forests, rolling hills and magnificent mountain scenery.

Vicky and Peter moved to SA 10 years ago from the UK,    Packwood is now the largest commercial Jersey dairy farm in the area, so plenty of fresh milk, cream and homemade icecream, yoghurts and cheese.  More recently Packwood planted a small vineyard in November 2006 of   Pinot Noir, Saugvingon Blanc and Chardonnay, we are all looking forward to the first glass and a huge party.
