Dining
Breakfast is a major event: every time prepared with loving care by Thomas using a combination of fresh local and German products. The best way for the guests on holiday is to have breakfast @ 8:30h, because than you will get fresh crisp rolls (like in those old days in Germany), crunchy health bread, or Brezl and Weißwurst, salami, gipsy ham, local cheese, fresh fruits, yoghurt and too much to mention.
If you are on business and you need to be on time for a meeting or an appointment, you can have breakfast from as early as 06h30. Special diets are catered for upon request (vegetarian, diabetes, food allergies…). Oh shame; you just booked self-catering and see the other guests diving into their breakfast, do not worry, be happy and book breakfast for as little as R35 per person.
If you can stay longer, you will probably enjoy one of our famous South African Braais with German influence. As South Africa is a meat country we offer chicken, lamb, boere wors (indigenous spiced sausage), skilpatijes (liver wrapped in fat net) and or ostrich. Sometimes we even cater Springbok or Zebra.
This comes with the traditional braai broitkje (sandwich with onion, tomato and cheese), salad, vegetable (gem squash, butternut, mealie, potato, mushrooms…).
